CIVELLO SPONSERS WELLSPRING'S WELL DRESSED FOR SPRING 2017

On February 22nd 2017, Civello had the pleasure of sponsoring Wellspring's Well Dressed For Spring 2017 Fashion Show at Holt Renfrew’s Bloor Street store in Toronto. Launched in 2012, the event is a high-energy fashion show, networking event and private shopping experience, marketed to professional women and leaders from the business and media industries. The goal of the event is to raise funds for, and drive awareness around Wellspring Cancer Support Foundation.

Civello stylists including Jesse Ervin, Anna Conte, Gabo Hernandez and Melanie Whitmore, participated in Civello’s sponsorship – it was our second year being involved. The group provided the fashion show’s models with hair & makeup, along with Civello’s signature treatment in The Studio at our Rosedale location. The incredible models are all victims of Cancer, or have a family member that is. The sincere kindness, warmth and gratitude they showed our stylists amidst having their services done was nothing short of remarkable and overwhelming.

We then accompanied the models to Holt Renfrew where the team provided final touch-ups, and watched the models walk the runway. As each one walked, they shared their story of strength and perseverance through personal experiences with cancer. The audience members, including us, were truly moved – it was a jolt of inspiration and important reminder that amidst adversity, the strength of community support is critical to persevering and conquering this prevalent disease. Wellspring is very much one of those communities.

It has become very important to us at Civello to continue this fruitful partnership with Wellspring. Wellspring provides a wide range of free cancer support programs, to meet the emotional, psychological, rehabilitation, practical and informational needs of those living with cancer. With no ongoing government or core funding, Wellspring relies entirely on community support to offer high quality supportive cancer care. To learn more, visit: https://wellspring.ca.
