JT CHUNG

JT Chung is a master stylist with internationally recognized experience. Beginning his
career in fashion industry, JT holds a Masters Degree in Fashion Arts and was recognized at the Seoul International Costume Culture Association Conference for his outstanding achievements in the industry. Wanting to specialize and focus his expertise in hair styling, JT was accepted into London’s prestigious Vidal Sassoon Academy, where he would later be scouted to perform as one of the salon’s top stylists. Always pushing for excellence and striving to be at the forefront of his industry, JT eventually moved on to open his own Aveda concept salon in his native Seoul in 2003. Building on his salon’s considerable success, JT decided to pursue his passion for education. His revered reputation earned him a teaching position with Suwon Woman’s College from 2002-2008, later opening invitations to guest lecture throughout Korea and Canada. He eventually continued to become one of Aveda’s most esteemed educators. JT’s greatest passion is to” inspire other stylists and help with their growth in this industry” ; He now holds the title of Creative Director at Civello Aveda in Vancouver, BC.
