Recent discoveries have begun to reveal the secret language of the body and how cells speak to each other to keep us healthy. PicoSure™’s PressureWave™ technology uses a unique wavelength of light (755nm) and a specialized lens to convert laser energy into gentle pressure. Remove all makeup, including eye makeup, lotions or sun screen and wash facial area prior to the treatment.  

Allow for a minimum of two weeks waiting period for Neurotoxins or fillers prior to your PicoSure™ treatment.

For five to seven days prior to the treatment, at the Civello clinician’s discretion, avoid therapies that may cause erythema (redness) or irritation such as Retin-A or products containing Isotretinoin, glycolic, and/or salicylic acid. 

The treatment area must be free of any open lesions or infections.

For an optimum treatment, hydrate by drinking plenty of water or hydrating fluids several days in advance. Avoid alcohol if possible.

Post treatment, most patients experience only one to three hours of minor swelling and redness. Since PicoSure™ doesn’t burn or damage the surface of the skin, make-up, moisturizers and sunscreens can be applied immediately following the treatment.
